✅ Good quality clothes you no longer wear.
✅ Good quality furniture you recently replaced.
✅ Any good condition items
Here's some items we cannot use:
❌ Soiled clothes
❌ Soiled furniture
❌ Broken items

Everyday essentials like shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant and sanitary products can easily be overlooked — but for some families, affording these basics can be a real struggle.

No one should have to choose between staying clean and meeting other essential needs. Missing out on essential hygiene products such as soaps, toothpastes, and shower gels, and then feeling shame, anxiety, isolation, or embarrassment is what hygiene poverty is about.

If you have ever skipped out on work, job interviews, or your social life because you didn't feel clean enough, you are not alone.

Hygiene poverty affects millions of people across the UK, but together we can build the awareness, partnerships and collective action needed to end it.
That's why we're supporting the End Hygiene Poverty campaign and the publication of new research from In Kind Direct and The Hygiene Bank.

A future without hygiene poverty is possible.
