Champions! ⚽🏆

Our Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS FT football team came out on top in this year's Trust vs Trust Football Challenge!

🥈 2nd place - Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust
🥉 3rd place - Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust
🏅 4th place - Airedale Hospital NHSFT

From the first whistle to the final result, the team showed the dedication, teamwork and fighting spirit that we see across our Trust every day.

Thank you to everyone that took part, it was an amazing day and a great way to fundraise.

A little play can you a long way...🫶

To everyone who has supported our ‘Gift of Play’ Appeal – thank you. Your kindness helps make childhood possible in hospital.

Toys, crafts and other projects funded through the ‘Gift of Play’ bring comfort, smiles and moments of joy to the poorly children being cared for at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS FT.

Clinical staff on the children’s ward are sharing the love with all our supporters that help make every hospital stay a little brighter.

A life-changing difference for John. ❤️

When 88-year-old John from Oxenhope began experiencing blackouts caused by his heart stopping for several seconds at a time, he was referred to the cardiology team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS FT.

Thanks to a new £44,000 OneStim™ Cardiac Stimulator System, funded by Bradford Hospitals Charity supporters, clinicians were able to implant a pacemaker designed to restore a safe and reliable heart rhythm.

The innovative technology helps surgeons and their teams place pacemaker leads more accurately, supporting better long-term outcomes for patients.

By funding this advanced technology, our supporters are helping patients like John access the latest cardiac care closer to home - transforming lives across Bradford and beyond.

We were proud to fund the first Bereaved Parents Support Group, led by our Perinatal Palliative Care Co-ordinator, Vicky Jones.

With the generous support of MyLahore, families came together in a welcoming and supportive space to share stories, remember their babies, and find comfort through peer support with others who truly understand.

Opportunities like these are so important, ensuring bereaved families have access to compassionate support when they need it most.
