Last week at Play group we started to decorate pieces of clothing to hang on our washing line in our garden! 👚👕👗
We will be working on this particular piece for the next couple of weeks and then the children will help to create a long washing line and using real pegs, the clothes they have decorated will be hung out to dry!!

Play group is a baby activities and learning group for children aged 0 to 5. We meet on a Wednesday at the Eccleshill Mechanics Institute in BD2 at 10am till 12pm. It costs £1.50 for the first child then £1.00 for each additional sibling. 🎨😊

We had our second visit to Sensory Supreme today to enjoy more Home themed arts and crafts!
At the session, the children created their own house, using coloured papers and different shapes. They also dressed their family members, using paper cut-out figures and felt material to create the clothes 🙂

🎭 AUDITION OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUNG PERFORMERS 🎭

Do you know a young person who loves singing, acting, dancing, or simply wants to give theatre a try?

Our friends at a local youth theatre are holding auditions for their brand-new musical - Charity Case, on the 5th July from 11am–3pm.

The show follows two very different families brought together through an unexpected business arrangement, where appearances aren't always what they seem...

This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to build confidence, make friends, develop performance skills, and be part of an exciting new production from the very beginning.

✨ Join us this Tuesday at Sensory Supreme!✨

After a fantastic first session, Bloomin' Buds will be back with more home-themed crafts for little ones and their grown-ups to enjoy together.

We'll be exploring what makes a house a home through creative, hands-on activities designed for babies, toddlers and young children. 🎨❤️

Whether you joined us last time or are thinking of coming along for the first time, we'd love to see you there!

Art group last week enjoyed "scratch art" and made bookmarks. 🔖📘
Taylor also continued making bead bracelets & keyrings. Jason enjoyed his drawing and Dominic was very proud of himself because he finished a mindful colouring project that he's been working on for a few weeks! 😍
