About the Local Transport Plan
This is a plan that all Transport Authorities must develop and regularly renew for their area; it guides all transport policy and investment in the region.
The Local Transport Plan sets the strategic direction for the future of transport across West Yorkshire, as well as the policies and investment that will help us get there. The West Yorkshire Combined Authority (the Combined Authority) is responsible for bringing it together, working with the five local authorities of Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield.
