This week is Male Breast Cancer Awareness week, but we believe this is something we should talk about all year round.

Approximately 400 men are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK every year - but very few people talk about it!

Here at NiP we want this to be a regular part of the conversation, and we're honoured to work alongside and champion many other organisations who are dedicated to supporting men affected by breast cancer.

Men get breast cancer too!

Here at NiP we are proud to be supporting the Men's VMU 'Men Get Breast Cancer Too' campaign.

Many men don't realise that they are at risk, which can then lead to a later diagnosis.

We know all too well that men can and do get diagnosed with breast cancer, and the more we can spread awareness about this the better.

Please talk about it with your male loved ones.

WE DID IT! 🎉💜 Thanks to all of your donations and generosity we hit our £10,000 Big Give target!!

You didn’t just help us reach our goal of funding ni**le tattoos for 28 women, but with a final total of £10,351 you helped us go one further. We can now support 29 women affected by breast cancer with free 3D long-lasting ni**le tattoos through our nationwide directory of ar**la artists.

29 women who can feel more like themselves again in their bodies, because of you. That is so special!

IT’S NOT JUST A TATTOO. 💜

It’s confidence.
It’s identity.
It’s feeling more comfortable in your own skin.
It’s looking in the mirror and seeing yourself again.

For some people, the impact of breast cancer doesn’t end when treatment does. Surgery and ni**le loss can change how someone feels about their body long after the hospital appointments are over.

A realistic 3D ar**la tattoo won’t mean the same thing to everyone. But for those who choose it, it can be so much more than what’s visible on the surface.

And that’s why NiP exists. 💜

This World Mental Health Day, we’re recognising the impact that cancer has on someone’s mental health and wellbeing - and the importance of choice, confidence and feeling like yourself.

The UKs first Mastectomy Tattoo Charity - The Ni**le Innovation Project.

Established in 2018 to provide free, 3D realistic, long lasting Ar**la tattoos to people following mastectomy surgery!

Through our nationwide directory of verified Ar**la Tattoo Artists we offer funded Ar**la tattoos that will not fade away, unlike the semi permanent tattoos offered in the majority of hospitals.

We understand the psychological importance of this work and work hard with our volunteer team to make our services more accessible to those in need! It’s sooo important to raise awareness of this vulnerable service to improve the confidence and self esteem of people following breast cancer!
