So many people tell us they feel they should just be grateful.
Grateful to be here.
Grateful for treatment.
Grateful to have had reconstruction.
And because of that, they silence their own disappointment.
But feeling lucky to be alive and wanting to feel whole in your body are not opposing things.

Conversations like this are why we exist, and why we continue to listen, learn and advocate for better, longer-lasting options for patients post-mastectomy. So no one has to feel like this when receiving a medical tattoo.

Our founder is hosting a fundraiser at Eight Wellness Club in Halifax on Saturday 27th June from 2pm!

To raise much needed funds for The Ni**le Innovation Project so we can continue to provide free 3D ni**le tattoos through our nationwide directory of Ar**la artists!

Come challenge yourself to take a cold water dip with Lucy followed by a soothing sauna for just £20!

Transparency matters to us.

When you donate to NiP, your contribution goes towards supporting mastectomy patients with access to 3D ni**le tattooing.

Our treatments are fully funded through the charity, with donations paying our incredible artists, so people needing our service don't have to pay a penny.

We don't have any paid members of staff, (yet!) our day to day running is done through an incredibly small team of volunteers. Special projects are outsourced to freelancers when needed.

So every penny you donate really does help us provide awareness, education and treatments for people all across the UK.

As NiP continues to grow, we’re looking for passionate volunteers to help us reach more people across the UK who need our support.

From grant writing and fundraising to board level governance, every role plays an important part in helping our charity grow sustainably and continue supporting those affected by breast cancer.

We’re the UK’s first mastectomy tattoo charity, powered largely by a small team of dedicated volunteers, and we’d love to welcome more people into our community.

Whether you can offer a few hours a month or bring specialist experience, your support could have a real impact.

When something is meant to help you feel whole again, and it doesn’t last, the disappointment can run deep.
One of our community members shared how distressing it felt to watch their original tattoo fade so quickly. What was supposed to be a positive step instead brought regret and embarrassment. That emotional impact matters.

After having their tattoo redone by a specialist artist, their words were simple and powerful. “I feel like she’s given me the world.”
