What if everyone just did ONE thing?

Hear us out...

Small actions might not feel significant on their own, but together they can create extraordinary impact.

They help us reach more people.

They help us raise awareness.

They help us build partnerships.

They help us grow our community.

And most importantly, they help more people access high-quality, realistic ni**le tattoos - which is the whole reason we're here. As a small charity powered largely by volunteers, every share, conversation, recommendation, donation and act of support helps us move our mission forward.

What's one thing you could do this month to support NiP?

World Breast Cancer Research Day 🎀

Research is how we keep moving forward.

For people who have experienced breast cancer and ni**le loss, restoration can be about so much more than physical appearance.

It can be about confidence, identity, choice and feeling more like yourself again!

We're really excited to share that we are in the process of planning a research project that will further explore experiences - and centre the voices - of those who have undergone medical ar**la tattooing following mastectomy in the UK.

We know that there is variation in choice when it comes to this tattooing, with impacts on satisfaction and outcomes.

We hope that this project's findings will be able to inform those undergoing this procedure, as well as clinicians, medical tattooists, service managers and commissions.

The research project will be led by a trainee clinical psychological under research supervision on a professional doctorate in clinical psychology programme in the UK and guided by a steering group of individuals with personal and professional lived experience.

Subject to appropriate ethical reviews and approvals, we are really pleased to get going in the near future!

We’re still in the early stages of planning, but we’re incredibly grateful to be beginning this work alongside:

Dr Nate Shearman - Senior Clinical Psychologist in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery & Senior lecturer in Clinical Psychology
Laura Ellis - Trainee Clinical Psychologist
Anita Wraith - Consultant Clinical Psychologist
Lucy Thompson BCAh - Medical tattoo artist & charity CEO
An Associate Specialist in Breast Surgery & MDT Lead for breast cancer
A Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon

Because the future of breast cancer care isn't just about 'survival'. It's about living well afterwards, having choices, and understanding what matters to the people experiencing it. 💗

of a male post-mastectomy tattoo in action.

Here at NiP we are really proud to showcase the tattoos we have created on men affected by breast cancer. Yes, men get breast cancer too!

This topic is not spoken about enough and we want any men going through this to know that they are seen; and they have this choice available to them.

Our artists are experienced in working with a variety of different skin types and tones, as well as chests of all sizes and shapes.

Share this post so we can reach more men who may need us 🤍

Our famous tit-tees are in need of even more of your wonderful handcrafted ni**les!

So we’re asking our amazing community for your help in handcrafting creative ni**les for our tit-tees!

We are looking for hand sewn/knitted/crocheted ni**les.

Not much bigger or smaller than 2” in diameter 💖

If anyone has some time to spare and is quite creative/crafty then maybe you can help us on our plight and make us a pair or two 😍 - we are looking for all variations, colours, shapes and sizes - just like the variety of real life nips 😀

All the money raised from each sale goes back into supporting those affected by breast cancer in our communities throughout the UK 💖💖

Please inbox or email us at [email protected] if you could help us out - or if not - maybe you could share this post and someone you may know that is a keen crafter!

And if you’re looking to buy one of our tit-tees you can purchase them direct from our wonderful sponsors

Big big thanks to Ash for this fabulous donation of sparkly nips 🩷🌟

We’re growing our team at The Ni**le Innovation Project! ✨

We’re looking for an experienced Freelance Partnerships Officer to help us build the relationships and sustainable income that will support the next stage of NiP’s growth.

This is a small role to begin with at 16 hours per month, but it’s an incredibly important one.

We need somebody with at least five years’ relevant professional experience and a proven track record of securing partnerships, sponsorship or generating income.

We’re particularly interested in people who can show us what they’ve personally achieved – from identifying an opportunity and making that first approach, through to developing the relationship and securing the partnership.

The role is:
✨ Freelance
✨ Remote & flexible
✨ £35 per hour
✨ 16 hours per month
✨ 6-month contract ideally starting November 2026
✨ Potential to extend contract if additional income and funding secured

You’ll work closely with our CEO and Trustees to develop corporate partnerships, sponsorship opportunities and long-term relationships that ultimately allow us to support more people across the UK.

Applications are open and close Wednesday 16th September 2026 at 23.59.

To make sure our recruitment process is manageable, we are only accepting applications through our dedicated application form. Applications sent via email, DM or social media will not be considered.

Apply here 👉 https://forms.monday.com/forms/cfa9d0d9d63fb2d9e63fc43cd62f1135?r=euc1

And if this isn’t your role but someone immediately came to mind while reading this, please tag them or send this their way.

We’d love to find someone brilliant. ♡

The biggest waves often start with the smallest ripples 🌊

Swipe to watch the ripple effect in action ➡️

What might feel like a small action to you could be the moment someone discovers that our support is available for them after mastectomy surgery.

Every time you engage with our content, or tell someone about NiP and advocate for our work, you help create a ripple that reaches further than you might ever know!

That ripple could lead to someone accessing a ni**le tattoo, which can be a vital step in rebuilding their confidence.

As a small charity powered largely by volunteers, every ripple matters.

Thank you for helping us spread awareness, challenge stigma, and ensure more people know that we are here.

Share this post to start the ripple effect.
