🌟 𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗗𝗥 𝗛𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗔𝗡 𝗠𝗢𝗛𝗜𝗨𝗗𝗗𝗜𝗡 𝗤𝗔𝗗𝗥𝗜 𝗧𝗢 𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗧 𝗔𝗟 𝗭𝗔𝗛𝗥𝗔 🌟

On Friday, 14th August 2026, Dr Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI), visited Madinat al Zahra.

🕌 𝗝𝗨𝗠𝗨’𝗔𝗛 𝗔𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗧 𝗔𝗟 𝗭𝗔𝗛𝗥𝗔

Dr Hassan delivered the pre-Jumu’ah talk and concluded with a heartfelt dua. Both prayer halls were filled to capacity, with many people also praying outside due to the large attendance for Jumu’ah.

🏗️ 𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗘

Following Jumu’ah, Dr Hassan visited the construction site of the new mosque and community centre, where he carried out a thorough inspection of each floor.

He was accompanied by Shaykh Muhammad Afzal Saeedi, Project Director, and his team. Lead Architect, Al-Samarraie, was also present during the inspection.

Dr Hassan praised the work that had been carried out and expressed his happiness with the progress of the project.

📋 𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗢𝗥 𝗘𝗫𝗘𝗖𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚

Later, a meeting was held with Dr Hassan and the Senior Executive Team of Madinat al Zahra, during which he was briefed on the current financial position, construction status and future progression of the project.

🤲 𝗔 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗙𝗘𝗟𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡

The evening concluded with a heartfelt dua and valuable guidance from Dr Hassan on bringing greater efficiency through effective teamwork.

The visit was a significant and encouraging occasion for Madinat al Zahra, providing an opportunity to review the progress of the project and receive guidance and encouragement for the work ahead.

May Allah ﷻ bless this project, those working tirelessly towards its completion, and allow Madinat al Zahra to become a source of benefit for generations to come. Ameen. 🤲

Syed Waris Ali Shah (Alayhir Rahmah) Urs Celebration

Alhamdulillah, we were honoured to commemorate the blessed Urs of Syed Waris Ali Shah Al-Hussaini (Alayhir Rahmah), the founder of the Silsila Warisiya.

The gathering was attended by many Warsi brothers, who beautifully recited poetry authored by Syed Waris Ali Shah (Alayhir Rahmah) in praise of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Allama Muhammad Afzal Saeedi Sahib congratulated everyone for attending and spoke about the remarkable life and teachings of this great Sufi saint.

Born on 1st Ramadan 1232 AH and tracing his noble lineage to Imam Hussain (RA) through Imam Musa al-Kazim (RA), Syed Waris Ali Shah (Alayhir Rahmah) devoted his life to seeking the pleasure of Allah. His teachings emphasised sincerity in worship, love for humanity, humility, contentment, and bringing hearts together rather than creating division. His spiritual influence extended far beyond the Muslim community, with followers from many different backgrounds.

The keynote address focused on the Islamic virtues of Hayā (modesty)and Ghayrah (protective honour), drawing upon the Qur'an, Hadith and the sayings of the noble Companions (RA). We were reminded that true faith is inseparable from modesty, that sincerity and humility are beloved to Allah, and that a believer should always remain conscious of Allah in both public and private.

We pray that Allah Almighty enables us to adopt these noble qualities, benefit from the teachings of the pious, and keep us steadfast upon the path of sincerity, humility and love for His Messenger ﷺ.

We thank all those who attended and contributed to making the gathering a spiritually uplifting occasion, including Haji Muhammad Ashfaq Warsi Sahib, Muhammad Yunus Warsi Sahib, Muhammad Shahzad Warsi, Muhammad Ijaz Qadri and Captain Muhammad Ashraf.

May Allah accept everyone's efforts. Ameen.
