Bradford Sendiass Children or young people may also access support from the service. We are independent of schools and the local authority.

We provide independent and impartial support, advice and information for parents/carers of children who have or may have special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) The Bradford SENDIASS ( formerly Bradford Parent and Young People's Partnership Service ) is a service for all parents/carers of children and young people who have, or may have, special educational needs. We support parents an

d young people who are transitioning from statements to Education Health and Care Plans (EHCP). We can:
* gather the childs and parents views for the This is Me section
* support parents through the transition process for example preparing for the meetings and looking through the initial draft.
* advise on the different kinds of provision available in Bradford.
* advise on parents rights and help their voices be heard through the transition process.

**Meet our new volunteer... Tanya!**

Hello, my name is Tanya and I am a new volunteer with SENDIASS. I am passionate about SEND and committed to supporting children, young people, and their families as they navigate the world of SEND.
I love learning new things, especially when it helps me grow in my role, and I enjoy putting that knowledge into practice to make a positive difference.
I’m excited to contribute, develop my skills, and be part of a service that empowers families and promotes inclusion.
