We have a very exciting announcement for 2026 🎉

Abba Re-Bjorn, one of the best Abba Tribute bands in the UK, will be performing at the Annette Fox Charity Dinner on Friday 15th May 2026 at the Craiglands Hotel, Ilkley.

Everyone is welcome to come along and join in the fun and help raise money for the Annette Fox Leukaemia Research Fund.

The evening includes a 3 course dinner, raffle, auction and tombola, all with superb prizes to be won.

Tickets are just £50 each or a table of 10 can be purchased for £450.

Book early to avoid disappointment as tickets are limited.

The funds raised from this event will be spent helping patients with Leukaemia and other serious blood disorders, in and around the Bradford/Airedale area.

A traditional afternoon tea in elegant surroundings at the Craiglands Hotel in Ilkley on Sunday 14th September 2025 at 2.30pm.

A wonderful way to spend a relaxing Sunday afternoon with friends and family whilst helping support people with serious blood disorders.

NEWS .... May 2025

We have news to share with you all.

We have appointed 3 new Trustees, all experienced nursing personnel based on Ward 33; they are Sarah, Andrea, and Jessica. We welcome them on board.

One of our longest standing and founder Trustees, Professor Liakat Parapia has stepped down from his position as Trustee at the Charity. He has served as a Trustee since establishing the Annette Fox Leukaemia Research Fund, which held its first meeting in July 1983.
We are delighted to announce, however, that Professor Parapia has accepted the role of Honorary Chairman for life at the Annette Fox Fund.
Professor Parapia is well known in Bradford and beyond for his groundbreaking work in serious blood disorders and has dedicated his life to supporting patients and their families in the Bradford area.

From the beginning of January 2025 we have formed a partnership with Cancer Support Yorkshire to provide a welfare rights service for patients with severe blood disorders.
We are providing funding to support this service two days a week.

Recently we held another of our ever popular Gala Dinner Dances, once again at the Craigland's Hotel, Ilkley.
The entertainment was provided by Liverpool’s Cavern Club Resident Band, Beatles Complete.
Wow how amazing were they!

The evening was a great success and raised just over £5000 for the charity.

Thanks are due to everyone who supported us on the evening and contributed to its success.
