A HOUSE WE’VE WORKED WITH FOR YEARS OPENS ON WEDNESDAY

Lotesend is a menswear house we have worked alongside for years. It designed and made the prophetic sandal and other pieces that were instrumental in the development of our endowment, and it travelled with us on the Virtues Tour this summer, during the prophetic month of Rabi’. On Wednesday, 7th October, at 2 in the afternoon, it officially opens.

EARLY ACCESS
To see it first, join the house’s list on its website: www.lotesend.com

ABOUT LOTESEND
Lotesend is rooted in the prophetic way, and in how its principles shape what we wear, the scents we choose and the culture we live in. It brings those principles into the contemporary world in a way that is timeless but honest. It has reproduced two of the sandals of the Prophet, salla’Llahu alayhi wa sallam, and alongside them it makes shirts and other everyday pieces that translate prophetic dress into forms that can be worn today.

People on the list are let in at 1pm, an hour before the doors officially open to the general public, and are sent the link to Lotesend’s Instagram, where the first frames of its campaign are, before the account opens to everyone. www.lotesend.com

Rawda Youth Programme recommenced today in Liverpool. We had a blessed first session, opening with archery and followed by discussion about the importance of Qur’ān, then further sessions where students engaged in conversation about Aqīda (iman) and Fiqh and Spirituality with Shaykh Amir, Shaykh Faiz, Ustadh Muhammad and Ustadh Khalid. The students asked some excellent questions. Allah bless these youth and all the teaching staff, amīn. Greensville Admin.

Yusuf Islam is one of the most recognised singer-songwriters of his generation. Since embracing Islam in 1977, he has devoted much of his life to education and charitable work. He founded Islamia Primary School in London in 1983, and he has long championed faith-based education in Britain. He has recently established the Maqam Centre, a community, arts, and well-being hub in Queens Park, London.

During his visit, Yusuf met Warwick Pethers, Amir Sulaiman and Shaykh Ibrahim Osi-Efa, along with our teachers, trustees and administration team. It was a valuable opportunity to share our vision, discuss the work being done at Mustafa Mount, and benefit from his decades of experience in building educational institutions rooted in faith.

We are grateful for his time, his warmth and his encouragement, and we ask Allah to reward him for all he has done for the community.
