Burlington Sports Academy Educating disadvantaged young people through the universal medium of sports & athletics The rest as they say, is history!

Brief History - Initially we started as a fundraiser for injured fighters in 2001. In 2003, classes were held in Bradford City Centre in the sport of boxing by fitness instructors. Now, we have progressed on to Boxercise sessions under the brand name Hook & Jab Fitness. Between 2002-2007 we also sold boxsets on ebay under the trading name of boxingwelfaretrust. These funds helped us raise funds to

buy quality equipment still in use today! In 2011 a full time business plan was developed, and our licensed coaches network began in a fully funbctional office. Plans have been developed to provide and deliver better sporting facilities & coaching to local communities, as well as develop a wider network in the coaching community. Furthermore, some of the funds from the humble origins on ebay were donated to causes beyond the Yorkshire or UK region. We welcome ideas and participation, so please get in touch. Since initial inception, we have helped promote sports and community development by supporting injured current or former athletes in education and training. Anybody who has an interest in participation or coaching should contact us. Our aim will always remain to improve community cohesion through sports, as well as developing sporting facilities and coaching.
