WHAT a day we had at Blackpool Zoo. It was brilliant. 48 of us! So much to see, everyone loved it. My favourites were the seal show- how very talented and well trained, giraffes- love them and the elephants. There were babies everywhere. An absolute joy to see. Thanks everyone for a great trip. What a brilliant day we’ve had for our Into the Wild Animal Experience. The children and adults loved it and some were very brave. The tarantula was huge- I stayed away, but I did make friends with Jaffa. A really amazing experience for everyone. Thanks to Taz (resident photographer) and all the mums who shared great pictures. 🙏. Bring on Blackpool Zoo tomorrow. 🌟

Arts and Crafts today as part of our summer activities. Lots of lovely pieces created by our young people who had an amazing time and were very well behaved. Thank you for taking part and helping to tidy up at the end. 💕

Well done to Mollie for leading such a great creative session. Very organised. And to Isobelle for being Moll’s glamorous assistant! And Carol for you help in the kitchen- rewarding work!!💕

We had a brilliant time for our Musical Summer School last week. Loads of fantastic young people who had a fantastic time and ate a lot of great food. They then performed twice for parents and relatives who loved what they had achieved in only 5 days! 💕

Thanks so much to all our staff and volunteers who helped to make the week successful and worked so hard. Mandy for her wonderful culinary skills, Clair for assisting Mandy, Kennedy for lots of fabulous choreography, Mollie for creating loads of colourful, lovely artwork with the children, Kath for her first aid skills and being our resident summer school mum and finally Mary and Luchia for all your help with anything that was asked. 💕

A top team of very special people. 💕
