🎄Help us make Christmas extra special for Bradford’s little ones! 🎄

Every year, Home-Start Bradford hosts a Christmas party for the families we support, bringing our families together for a special day of festive fun. ❤

We want to make sure that every child gets to open a present, including their brothers and sisters, and this year we are especially in need of gifts suitable for babies and toddlers aged 0–2. 🎁

Could you help us put a smile on a little one’s face this Christmas?

We would be incredibly grateful for donations of new, unwrapped gifts suitable for children aged 0–2, as well as gifts for children aged 3–5.

Every gift, however small, can help make Christmas feel a little more special for a child and their family.

Car seat checking events are coming back to the Bradford District.

✅ Thursday 15 October 2026 - Asda Rooley Lane, 10am - 3pm (ALSO includes free tyre safety checks)
✅ Thursday 12 November 2026 - Sedbergh Youth & Community Centre, 10am – 3pm

Did you know, there are lots of reasons why your child's car seat might need checking?

🚗 Fittings or straps might not be clipped in properly, or could be loose, twisted or incorrectly positioned
🚗 Child seat not compatible with your car
🚗 Your child has grown and you haven't adjusted the seat to their new size
🚗 Second-hand (undamaged) seat not fitted properly

If your car is in a crash or shunt, even a high-quality car seat can fail to protect your child, if it is not fitted correctly.

For peace of mind, get your child's car seat checked for FREE.
