I know there are many young people in Bradford who feel anxious and isolated. It's a feeling I know all too well. If you are feeling like this and want to find a positive, supportive way forward, YMCA Shaping Futures could be the group for you.
We are a small, friendly, safe group where you can learn to be great at being you, make new friends, do positive activities and take time to plan future goals, all with the support of experienced youth workers.

If you could go to a peer support group where members share things they are doing in their daily lives to help mitigate climate change, bring ideas and information about new actions each could take, do clothes and seed/plant swaps etc, learn sustainable skills, find out what is happening locally regarding climate action - would you go?

Here's a before and after photo of our project at the Bradford College site. The plants are small at the moment but by next September they should have started filling out nicely. I can’t wait to see it then!!

Our last day on site and the final touches finished. We are really proud of what we have all achieved over the last month and a half. After such a tough time for everyone through the pandemic, it's been really goid to get out and create something so positive together that will benefit people and wildlife who use the site from now on.
