🌲⛺ What a camp! 🌲

Our final Cub & Scout camp of the year at Bradley Wood was an absolute blast! 🤩

We cooked our own dinner on Trangias, had a go at the tomahawks, braved the zip line, invested one Cub and three leaders, and of course… spent the weekend getting very, very dirty! 😂

Some slept in hammocks, some in tents, but everyone ate lots, had plenty of fun and hopefully made some brilliant memories along the way.

A huge thank you to all our amazing volunteers who give up their time, evenings and weekends to make camps like this possible. We genuinely couldn’t do it without you. ❤️

What a way to finish our camping year! 🏕️🔥

🌟 What a fantastic night at Scouts! 🌟

🐿️ Squirrels
Our Squirrels had some exciting new toys to play with! Willow’s children have kindly donated their old train set and some cars, which have already been a big hit. 🚂🚗

We also spent some time thinking about feelings as we worked towards our Feel Good badge. 💭❤️

And, of course, we couldn’t resist having a look at the hammock Steve had put up ready for Cubs & Scouts! 🏕️

🦫 Beavers
Our Beavers got active with some yoga exercises, working towards their Skills badge. 🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️

There were some brilliant yoga poses and lots of great effort from everyone. Well done, Beavers! ⭐

🐺 Cubs & Scouts
Cubs and Scouts joined together tonight as we got everything ready for camp this weekend! 🏕️

They had a go in the hammocks, which will be making an appearance at camp, and learned about Trangias in preparation for cooking their own meals. 🔥🍳

They also helped load the car with all the equipment we’ll need — teamwork in action! 💪

We’re now very nearly ready for camp and can’t wait! 🏕️🌳

A huge well done to all our young people for another brilliant night! 💚⚜️

Parents, we’d love to hear what your young person has been talking about when they got home — what was their favourite part of the evening? Pop it in the comments! 👇😊

And if your child isn’t currently part of our group but would love to get involved, send us a message — we’d love to hear from you! ⚜️

💚 WE NEED YOU! 💚

Our Beaver Colony is growing, which is fantastic news! 🦫

But to keep giving our young people the amazing Scouting experiences they deserve, we need another adult volunteer to join our Beaver team.

You don't need to have been a Scout before. You don't need to be an expert at camping, knots or lighting fires!

We're looking for someone who is reliable, enthusiastic and wants to make a difference to local young people. 💚

You'll be joining a brilliant team, learning new skills and helping our Beavers have loads of adventures along the way! 🏕️🔥🌳

If you've ever thought “I'd love to get involved”, this could be your chance!

📩 Interested? Send us a message to find out more.

⚽💚 WHAT. A. NIGHT! 💚⚽

What an incredible evening at Bradford Park Avenue!

Our Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts had an amazing time and what a fantastic experience it was for our young people to walk onto the pitch with the players before the match! Then we also got to have a penalty shootout at half time!🤩

We're so grateful to Bradford Park Avenue for giving our young people this fantastic opportunity and for supporting our local Scout group.

A huge thank you to the leaders, parents and young people who attended, you made it such a brilliant evening!

Here's a little look at our night… 👇📸

⚽ IT'S MATCH NIGHT! ⚽

Tonight our Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts are heading to Bradford Park Avenue for a very special evening!

We're SO excited that our young people will have the opportunity to walk onto the pitch alongside the team before the match! 🤩⚽

We're incredibly lucky to have such fantastic community links that allow our young people to experience opportunities like this.

We can't wait to get on that pitch, cheer on the team and enjoy the game together! 💚

Come on Bradford Park Avenue! ⚽🙌
