A nice & tidy💫 MUGA again after Mother Nature dumping all her leaves 🍁 in it….again 🙄! 😂
Thanks to my two children for helping out with the brushes & shovels too ❤️

Hi everybody 👋 My son & I gave the MUGA a good clean today to get rid of all the leaves🍁, sticks🪵 & stones🪨. Could you drop me a message on here if you see it needs done before I manage to get back to it please & I’ll do my best to get to it🤞🤙

The sad news is that Ardoch Juniors FC ⚽️ appears to have had a football pump stolen from from the MUGA storage locker. The coaches turned up today with new footballs for the girls to use but as a result of the stolen pump they couldn’t blow them up to use them, very sad! If anyone knows of the where a bouts of the pump could they drop me a message on here please or get in touch with Ardoch Juniors, thank you 🙏

Hey folks. I gave the MUGA a good clean on Saturday & got rid of all the stones, twigs etc from the surface. I also dug out all the stones & mud from the sockets for the netball nets.
Hopefully this makes the MUGA a safer & more user friendly place to be again👌.
Can I ask that anyone who notices anything wrong, needing repaired or cleaned drops me a message on here please & I’ll endeavour to get it done ASAP👍

The Ardoch Netball club is now up and running and off to a great start. Its held every Wednesday from 7.30pm to 8.30pm at the MUGA in Braco.

New members are always welcome to come along to try it out, regardless of experience. We start with a warm up, then games are between 5-7 minutes long, with a rest in between.

Come along if you've been inspired by the commonwealth games!

Minimum age 11 (parental consent required under 16)

Cost- free! No booking required
Comfortable clothes and shoes recommended

This is an event in Dunblane & not in the Ardoch MUGA but hopefully it’ll generate some interest in starting a tennis club here 🎾

Update: Ardoch Netball Club

Some good and bad news....

Unfortunately covid has visited my house again so we will need to postpone our 1st week 😒 Club will now start on the 20th

Some good news! The ADT has kindly agreed to fund our kit so we have been able to purchase balls and bibs.

In preparation for our first week please see links to simple netball rules for those who have not played for a while, or who have never played before. To start with, we won't be following all the rules religiously, instead focusing on a couple of key rules and then building on this as the club gains confidence.

The survey results are in and Wednesday is the most popular day for netball! The club will start from Wednesday the 13th July 7.30 to 8.30pm at the MUGA

Cost is free- just bring yourself, comfortable clothes & shoes, and a bottle of water.

Open to anyone regardless of netball experience. Minimum age 11, no maximum age.

The club will be weather dependant and any cancellations will be confirmed on the day before 3pm via email or messenger.

MUGA netball update- it looks like we have enough interest for netball to go ahead 🎉🏀 Currently a Wednesday night is the most popular with 58%. I'll leave it open until Wednesday then announce day and start date!!

I was wondering if there would be interest in having a netball club during the summer on the MUGA?

The ethos would be a relaxed and non competitive way to socialise and be active, while playing a fun sport.

It would be open to anyone regardless of netball experience. Minimum age 11.

We would aim for a get together to play weekly one evening from 7.30-8.30pm. This is weather dependant and would be confirmed on the day.

It would start in the next couple of weeks and continue until the end of August. If there's enough interest and the Scottish weather works with us we could keep going longer.

There’s new signs up on the MUGA for the users of the park 💩 🗑
Unfortunately it seems some folk still need reminding about their responsibilities as dog owners 🤷‍♂️
Please keep dogs out of the MUGA. There are now 4 hoops on the rear of the hall to tie your dogs up to whilst using the MUGA or visiting the park 🤙 let’s keep this space enjoyable for all ❤️
