Faith Has No Finishing Line

Have you been coming to church for a while and would like to explore faith more deeply?

Are you interested in baptism or confirmation?

Perhaps you've been asking bigger questions about life, faith, prayer, or God and would like the space to explore them with others.

Faith is not something we finish. It is a journey of learning, growing, questioning, and discovering.

Join us for a series of four sessions this November as we explore the Christian story, ask honest questions, and reflect on how faith can shape our lives today.

Whether you are taking your first steps or your next steps, there is a place for you.

Starts Sunday 1 November at 7.00pm, after Evening Prayer.

This is not just for Mothers' Union members. Anyone interested in hearing about modern Christian mission and one family's journey of faith will be very welcome.

Refreshments from 7.45pm
Talk begins at 8.00pm

Come along, bring a friend, and hear an inspiring personal story of faith in action.

Whether you come every week or have never joined us on a Thursday before, you will be very welcome.

At your parish church this Tuesday at 6pm...
..we gather for Holy Communion on the day the Church commemorates Edward the Confessor.

Edward has a special connection with Easthampstead. More than 900 years ago, he granted the manor of Easthampstead to Westminster Abbey, linking our community to the Abbey he rebuilt and helping to shape the history of our parish. Today, Easthampstead Parish Church continues a Christian presence in this place that stretches back through the centuries.

The service includes Bible readings, prayer, a short sermon, and Holy Communion, and lasts around 30 minutes.

Everyone is very welcome.

Readings
1 Samuel 16:1-13
Mark 2:23-end

Your parish needs you!...

Not for anything dramatic. No roof replacement. No medieval stone carving. No emergency bell-ringing.

Just a few jobs, a few cups of tea, community, fellowship and a chance to help keep our parish church looking its best.

Join us next week on Saturday 17 October, from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

Whether you can spare all the time or only a bit. Many hands make light work... and it saves the churchwardens from having to do everything.

Whether you can stay for half an hour or the whole morning, your help would be greatly appreciated.

Everyone is welcome.
