From red to camouflage
A small group of crown forces mainly the more agile younger members and some older (still thinking there are 21). Swapped the red jackets for camo overalls and musket for paintball markers.
Yes for our end of season get together we treated ourselves to a group paintball event at hamburger Hill in Bristol.
A great day if not exhausting was had by all. And it is safe to say 18th century tactics don't work with paintballs.
Congratulations to Claire dyer for the perfect shot managing to get a paintball under my mask and hit my nose. And thank you to Emma keat for laying on what can only be described as a banquet picnic for lunch.
It was great to see everyone having a laugh.
DUE TO AGE AND ENERGY MAYBE NEXT TIME WE WILL DO WINE TASTING!!!

Come along to Quebec House to find out.
Saturday 6–Sunday 7 September, 11am–3pm
The Association of Crown Forces (1776) will be at Quebec House to share stories about life as a British soldier during the time of the Battle of Quebec.
Pre-book your timed entry ticket to visit the house.
