What a day! Thanks so much for making Great Big Green Fun Day so vibrant. Shout out to all the many stall holders, performers, vendors, volunteers, funders and GBGW organising team (especially Sheila Brook & Claire Day) who brought the day to life.

That's a wrap on Great Big Green Week 2026. We hope it gave you a moment to connect with local organisations doing something exciting and to discover new ways to get involved with local climate action. Do let us know!

Tomorrow's the big day! Are you ready? Come along to Mill Marsh Park from 10am-4pm to celebrate the end of Great Big Green Week in Bovey Tracey with our free Great Big Green Fun Day.

There will be music, food, craft activities with MAKE Southwest, stalls with many local environmental organisations & green businesses, a book swap, a plant sale, talks and even a foraging walk with Devon and Cornwall Bushcraft. Fun for the whole family.

Thanks to all of the organisations, businesses, performers, volunteers and funders who have helped bring this day to life. We can't wait to see everyone there.

Get on your bike this Great Big Green Week! Join the local Devon Wildlife Trust group for a cycle to explore the flora & fauna of Teigngrace Meadow on 18 June. No charge but a suggested donation of £5 would be appreciated. Pre-booking is required. Whether you're a pro or dusting off your bike after a brief hiatus, you're welcome to join in this community ride. Please follow the link for more details about the route difficulty.

Enjoy a Summertime Cycle to explore this wonderful grassland's flora and fauna, with Barry Henwood, moth and butterfly expert.

Great Big Green Week kicks off on Saturday, 13 June, with a special screening of the documentary, The Engine Inside. The film tells the stories of six everyday people around the world who discover the unique power of the bicycle to change lives and build a better world. This screening will be introduced by Pi Manson, the Bovey-based builder of Clandestine bikes (https://www.clandestine.cc/).

This is the next in the Reel Earth collaborative series with Bovey Paradiso, Climate Action: Bovey & Heathfield and First Draft Books. Alongside the film, there will be related books for sale from First Draft Books as well as an bar (proceeds from which support Paradiso's work).
