Another research opportunity:
I'm extremely keen to make differences in the English ed. system and I would love if you could help me do that!
My name is Kayden Schumacher and I am reaching out hoping to network and connect more comprehensively as I am a trans PhD student at Coventry University seeking participants for my PhD research regarding trans students and educators' experiences in the English education system from 1988 to today. I am seeking participants who are between 18 and 35 and identify as trans or gender diverse.
Just in case you are curious who I am, here is a bit of an introduction of myself: I am a 2nd year PhD student at Coventry University in Global Learning Education and Attainment. I am a trans and s*xually fluid person, with a bachelor's degree in psychology and gender studies (Lawrence University, WI, USA), a Masters in Social and Applied Psychology (University of Kent, Canterbury, UK), Masters in Education- School Counselling (Concordia University, WI, USA). I have been working as a school counsellor in the USA predominately working with LGBT+ people in underserved educational environments. I'm originally from Wisconsin, but I moved to the UK from Minneapolis, MN). I am researching trans and gender diverse students and educators' experiences in the English education system from 1988 to today. I have received ethical approval of my PhD project and am now in the recruitment and fieldwork process.
I would love it if you could participate, or I could disseminate it somehow through anyone in your network.

- A small demographic questionnaire they can find at the link below.

- Following the questionnaire, I would meet in person and do an individual interview about their experiences in the English education system as a trans and/or gender diverse person as a student and/or educator or both.
- Following the individual interview, I would meet in person again, with a small group of other participants and do a small focus group discussing their experiences as a trans and/or gender diverse person as a student and/or educator or both.
