Helpful Hounds Assistance Dogs

12/10/2026

📸 Turns out, putting together a charity calendar is harder than it looks!

We're busy working on the Helpful Hounds 2027 Calendar, and while luckily our photography skills won't be needed, there's one thing we definitely can't do without... YOU!

👀 We're looking for local businesses to help make our calendar a success by becoming a sponsor.

It's a chance to get your business featured in our calendar, show your support for a local charity and help us continue making a difference to the lives of disabled people through assistance dogs. 🐕‍🦺

We've tried to make it accessible to businesses of all sizes, with three options:

🐾 £50 – Supporter
🐾 £100 – Sponsor
🐾 £250 – Featured Sponsor

Every bit of support helps us raise more from the calendar, and we'd love to have some brilliant local businesses involved.

📅 Sponsorship closes on 30th October, or sooner if all spaces are filled.

If you'd like to be part of it, just comment below or email [email protected]

And if you know a business that might like to get involved, please give them a tag.

🐾 Get your business into the Helpful Hounds 2027 Calendar!

We’re looking for local businesses to sponsor our brand-new charity calendar and help us raise even more to support our life-changing work.

It’s a simple way to:

🐾 Show your support for a local charity
🐾 Demonstrate your commitment to CSR and your community
🐾 Get your business in front of our supporters throughout 2027
🐾 Build positive brand awareness while making a genuine difference

We have three sponsorship options available:

⭐ £50 – Supporter
⭐ £100 – Sponsor
⭐ £250 – Featured Sponsor

Depending on your level, your business could receive name or logo placement in the calendar, increased visibility and social media recognition.

Every sponsorship helps us make more from the calendar, meaning more funds can go towards supporting disabled people through our assistance dog programmes. 🐕‍🦺💜

📅 Deadline: 30th October – or when all sponsorship spaces are gone!

Interested? Email [email protected] to secure your space or find out more.

🐾 Chloe doing brilliantly with her assistance dog training! 🐾

We’ve been practising one of the most important skills for an assistance dog - settling calmly and waiting for her owner while out in public.

A bookshop was the perfect environment to practice. Chloe did so well, quietly settling while her owner browsed, learning that she doesn’t need to be constantly on the move or seeking attention. ❤️

These everyday outings are helping Chloe build the calmness, patience and confidence she’ll need to work successfully alongside her owner. 🌟🐶

🐾 Meet our new Hugo Heroes! 🐾It was lovely to meet up with some of our new Heroes today and talk about the special role they’ll have this term 💛There’s lots to look forward to — caring for Hugo, training and learning together and building those all-important connections, while bringing our school values to life. We’re also really excited that later this half term, Helpful Hounds trainers will be coming into school to work with our Hugo and the Heroes, to see how they’re getting on and help them develop their skills together. We think Hugo is going to be very well looked after! 🐶🐾💛

Meet Milo and Lauren! 🐾

This partnership has been working hard and has now proudly passed their Progress Ladder 2 Star - a fantastic achievement and another important step in Milo's journey as an assistance dog.

Milo supports Lauren’s son, and we're so proud of the progress they’re making as a team and can’t wait to see what they achieve next! 💙
