🌟 Volunteer of the Week: Jamie 🌟

Jamie joined us last autumn, but he was already making a difference long before then. Through his own dedication, he spent his time litter picking, gardening, and helping to keep local streets clean and tidy simply because he cares about the community he lives in. 💚

His passion has now led to the creation of West Howe Community Clean & Tidy, a monthly community clean-up group bringing local people together to make a positive difference.

We're incredibly proud of everything Jamie has achieved so far and look forward to seeing the group continue to grow.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us at our Community BBQ on Wednesday evening and our Family Craft Carousel this morning 💛

We’ve had so much fun together — full of giggles, creativity, a little bit of mess 🙈, and lots of delicious food 🍔🍪

Most of all, we want to say the biggest thank you to our incredible volunteers 🙌
Your energy, commitment, kindness and generosity of time make these events possible. You are absolutely amazing, and none of this would happen without you 💫

Yesterday at our summer time session, we had so much fun making pepperoni pizza roll-ups and fruit skewers! The children loved getting creative in the kitchen, building their own tasty treats, and enjoying some delicious summer snacks together. 😋✨

🧩🎉 PUZZLE A WEEK STREAK ACHIEVED! 🎉🧩

For the past two weeks, we’ve had a community puzzle in progress here at the Henry Brown Centre - and thanks to all our amazing visitors, new faces, and regulars, as well as our fabulous volunteers, we’ve officially completed a puzzle each week! 🙌✨

Now the stakes are higher… 👀
We’re starting a 1000 piece puzzle and we’ve set ourselves the challenge of completing it by NEXT FRIDAY! 💪🧩

With Bank Holiday Monday meaning we’ll be closed, we’re going to need all the help we can get! So if you’re popping in for a cuppa, a chat, or a visit, come add a few pieces and be part of the challenge 🫶
