☕💚MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING – YOU’RE INVITED!💚☕

We are delighted to be hosting a very special Macmillan Coffee Morning at Digby Court on Friday 25th September 2026, from 10:30am–11:30am 🌸

Come along and join us for a lovely warm and welcoming morning, with delicious homemade cupcakes, plenty of tea and coffee, and most importantly, the opportunity to come together and support an incredible cause. 🧁☕💚

This event means so much to everyone here, and we are determined to make it a truly special and memorable morning. We would absolutely love to welcome members of the local community, our families, friends and members of the public to join us.

And there’s something extra special happening… ✂️💚
Our wonderful chef, Sarah, will be shaving her head to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support! This is such a brave and meaningful gesture, and we couldn’t be prouder of her for getting involved and helping to make a difference. 💚

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help support people living with cancer and their families.

So please come along, have a cuppa and share a little time with us. We’d love to see you there!💚

☀️ What a fantastic Summer Fair! ☀️

We had such a wonderful time celebrating together at our Summer Fair! Our residents, staff, friends and family all enjoyed a lovely afternoon filled with delicious food, great entertainment, lots of smiles and plenty of fun. 💕🎶

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day so special. Your support and company mean so much to us.

A special thank you to Songbird with her wonderful singing, and Banda for the superb dance moves — it was a real highlight of the afternoon! 🎤💐

A big shout out to EJ's Bronze and Buff Lounge for donating a prize to our raffle, and to Tasha for your wonderful selection of cakes that we all enjoyed 😋

We’re already looking forward to our next event and hope to see you all again soon! 🌷💛

Come and spend a wonderful day with us at our Summer Fair, right here at the care home! 💛

We’re opening our doors and inviting residents, families, friends and members of our local community to join us for an afternoon filled with good food, great entertainment and plenty of fun. 🎉

To help make the day extra special, we’re looking for local stall holders who would like to join us and showcase their goodies, crafts or services. 🎪

🎁 We’re also kindly asking for donations of tombola prizes. Whether it’s a small gift, a bottle, a box of chocolates or something you think would make a great prize, every donation would be hugely appreciated! ❤️

So far, Grant has rowed an incredible 74.175 kilometres towards his 100-kilometre target! 🎯

Every kilometre to help us create a beautiful garden for our residents. We're hoping to transform our outdoor space into a peaceful place where residents can relax, enjoy the fresh air, spend time with loved ones, and make special memories.🌿🪑

Just 25.825 km to go! Let’s get behind Grant and cheer him on as he pushes towards that 100 km milestone! 🙌❤️

Puzzles are vital for the elderly because they stimulate brain function, improving memory and problem-solving skills while potentially delaying the onset of dementia. These activities reduce stress, enhance mood, increase dexterity, and foster social interaction when done with others, improving overall quality of life.

Music truly is the best medicine! 🎶 We had the lovely Belinda Songbird join us at Digby Court today. She had everyone’s toes tapping, voices singing, and the whole room dancing. 💃

Belinda specialises in interactive singing sessions, featuring a range of classic, festive, and popular hits, bringing back the best memories and getting everyone moving. Thank you for the music and the smiles, Belinda! 🎤
