We are very much looking forward to hosting our final annual Winter Whoosh! event at The Missing Sock this coming Saturday 11th November! We want to take this opportunity to thank the team at the Missing Sock for being our spiritual home for the past 7 years, and in helping us in creating such an amazing respectful fireworks event and community of like minded people who love music and love the sparkle!
For all ticket holders - you will be receiving an event update email from Skiddle this week, please make sure you read this thoroughly. Doors open at 7pm and last entry is strictly 9pm. This is due to H&S and to ensure that everyone attending is signed in before the fire performances and fireworks. Food will be available (jumbo frankfurters, buns, onions, sauces and vegan option - cash only).
The bars take cash and card.
Fire performances start at 10.30pm and the fireworks finish by 11pm (10 minute show).
For local residents to the Missing Sock - we have done everything possible to ensure that our annual event each year is respectful to all. We have never received a noise complaint and we intend to keep this for our final Winter event. To add extra piece of mind, we have arranged for the music in the marquee, which has always run from 7pm-11pm, to be on a silent disco with headphones so no amplified noise will be experienced at all. The only sound outside will be from 10.30-11pm when we have background music to our fireworks display. We hope that you enjoy the display from your gardens! The event finishes at 3am with the music being contained inside. We have always carefully managed the sound levels and will be conducting tests in Quy, Bottisham and Newmarket Road during the day to ensure that no bass or amplified noise travels. We have a fully experienced and professional team, who have been working together for over 10 years.
Let's make this last year of Winter Whoosh! at The Missing Sock be a huge success, and for everyone to have the best evening of the year!
IMPORTANT: This event is fully sold out and there will be NO tickets available on the door. Please do not attend without an official ticket from Skiddle or otherwise arranged with the Whoosh! team. Anyone without a valid ticket will be refused entry.
