This week is National Volunteers Week!!

We want to say a MASSIVE thank you to all of our regular volunteers and to our volunteer directors for all of the amazing work they do and the help they give!

We would also like to give a massive thank you to all of the employer supported volunteers that have helped around the farm over the past few years including members from the National Grid Electricity Transmission and from Tesco!

Finally, we would like to thank those who have taken part in our micro volunteering projects such as the Warm Heads, Warm Hands, Warm Hearts and Emergency Bears Knitting.

We are very grateful to you all!

GUESS WHAT...

The Kerry Hill is almost ready to open again soon!!

Come and join us on Saturday 13th June for 2026's first Kerry Hill Pop-Up Pub Night and for a great family friendly evening, with food from our farm kitchen and a well stocked bar!

Sit outside under our lights, hide away in the log cabin or sit in the cosy corner in our barn.

We will also be having another pub quiz! Teams are a maximum of four, £5 per team, payable on the night!

Everyone is welcome so join us for a relaxed and friendly evening with some delicious food available from 6pm.

We can't wait to see you there!

Lancaster Update:

The Lancaster was out again in the Men's Shed yesterday, with the wings being the main focus for the afternoon.

After some finishing and fettling, Chris, Nick and Mark began assembling the structure of the starboard wing and it looks excellent!!

We have some EXCITING NEWS!!!

We are having another Family Fun Day this year!!! This one, however, is a little bit different as we are doing the Family Fun Day Greatist Hits (as voted for by you), to make it the best one yet!!

We are currently putting toegther a list of our favourite activities but we need some help, so why not leave your favourites in the comments?

The Puddlers Toddler Group is back TOMORROW MORNING!!!

Come and join us on Tuesday 2nd June for a morning filled with exciting activities as well as animal feeding, playing, driving the pedal tractors and painting!!

The Puddlers Toddler Group runs Tuesday mornings, during term time, from 9:15am to 11:15am🌞🌈.

It's all for a suggested donation of only £2.50 per child! So, come down for a morning of fun! 👶👧

This week...

… PUDDLERS IS BACK!!

Come and join us for an exciting Tuesday morning of animal feeding, crafting and playing at the Puddlers Toddler Group. Then it's on to Challenge Askefield and The Men's Shed in the afternoon!

On Wednesday we have our Care Farm day and then the second Powertex session in the evening!!

Don't forget...

We have our next BOOK CLUB night TONIGHT!!

Come and join us on from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, where we will be discussing the Richard Osman book, The Thursday Murder Club.

Refreshments will be available, so if you would be interested in attending the book club or are just a bit of a bookworm then please come along!!

We have our next Youth Club tomorrow evening!!

The Youth Club is back and running from May until December, every two weeks on a Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm (August and September and slightly different).

Due to its popularity, The Youth Club is starting 2026 oversubscribed, however this does not affect any of our regular attendees from last year, your places are still here. Don't worry those on the waiting list, we have not forgotten about you.
