Another meaningful morning at Unique Hope.ππ
It was so lovely to welcome more new faces including Mike Gilbert the deputy leader of the council to our coffee morning today and to share another space filled with connection, curiosity and open-minded conversation.
We had the privilege of listening to a doctor from CAMHS, gaining valuable insight into how services operate and the complexities involved in supporting children, young people and families.
Our discussion then turned to Ofsted. We explored how inspection frameworks are formed, the legal responsibilities and policies that schools must adhere to, and the significant demands this can place on teachers and school leaders. It offered valuable context behind the ratings that schools receive and encouraged us to look beyond headlines and consider the many competing pressures faced by those working in education.
As always, conversations were approached with kindness, respect and a genuine willingness to understand different perspectives. These discussions remind us that awareness often grows not from having all the answers, but from being willing to listen, learn and remain curious.
Thank you to everyone who joined us today and contributed to another enriching morning. We continue to be inspired by the openness, compassion and thoughtful conversations that make these gatherings so special.
Together we are building a community where understanding matters more than assumptions, and where learning never stops. ππ
Thank you to all the wonderful staff at the White Hart too who are always so helpful and accommodating ππ
