Boston Foodbank

Please donate your used egg boxes to the Foodbank. We get lots of eggs donated by the supermarkets, but they come in two dozen boxes which are too big for us to issue, so we split them into half dozen boxes so that they go further. You can leave your boxes at the back of the Boston Stump.

We are just at the end of the summer. If your school, church or organisation is holding a harvest festival, please consider donating the gifts to your local Foodbank. The Foodbank is only able to help people in our Community as a result of the donations that people make. We rely on your generosity. The period between the end of the school summer holidays and Christmas is always a very busy period for us at the Foodbank, as people need extra help through the winter months. Please help us to support those in need in our town and villages.

With the arrival of autumn, the Foodbank has seen an increase in the number of homeless people asking for help. We try to provide them with items such as pot noodles, instant pasta, tins of cooked meat with ring pulls, variety packs of cereal and biscuits, but our stocks are very low. Can you help?

Anything you can afford, please leave in a donation point at the Supermarkets or bring it to the Stump.

Thank you for your generosity. Without the generosity and kindness of our donors, vulnerable people in Boston would be going hungry,

🥚 Egg cartons needed please!

We’re lucky to get eggs donated to Boston Foodbank in full trays, but we need empty egg cartons so we can split them up and add eggs to our food parcels.

If you have any clean, empty egg boxes, please save them for us rather than recycling them.

They can be dropped off at the Foodbank or one of our collection points.

Thank you for your support 💚

💚 THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND DONATIONS! 💚

We’ve had a fantastic collection of flasks, reusable drinks bottles and travel cups donated to Boston Foodbank. Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far. 🙏

☕ We’d love to keep the collection going!

If you have any clean, good-quality flasks, reusable bottles or travel mugs that you no longer use, please consider donating them rather than throwing them away.

📍 Donations can be dropped off at Boston Foodbank, The Stump, or one of our local collection points.

Every item donated can be put to good use and help someone in our local community. 💚

Please keep collecting and spreading the word — thank you for your continued support!
