What a perfect day for our RiverCare litter pick! ☀️
Joined by a fantastic group of volunteers and Alice, the RCBC Programme Officer, we covered the stretch of the River Haven between Metza and the docks, as well as the Maud Foster Drain up to Vauxhall Bridge.
We’re pleased to say we only filled 9 bags of litter—plus, of course, the obligatory traffic cone! 🛒🚧
A huge thank you to everyone who gave up their time to help keep our waterways clean. Every litter pick makes a difference! 💚🌿

A lovely day to be part of the Wyberton Wombles Big Borough Spring Clean 🌱💚

With a fantastic team of nine, we covered:
• Haven Riverside up to Metsa
• Windsor Bank, including Tower Road and Freiston Road
• Woad Farm Road, Kingsway and Fishtoft Road
• Tower Street along Witham Bank

Great teamwork, fresh air, and a real difference made to our local environment. Every bag collected counts! 🙌♻️
