The Butterfly Hospice Trust

The Butterfly Hospice Trust Your local hospice for local people. The Butterfly hospice sits within 4 acres of grounds near to Pilgrim Hospital in Boston, Lincolnshire.

The Butterfly Hospice - We are an independent, local charity working to provide palliative and end of life care to people with a life-limiting illness. We offer palliative and end of life care to anyone over the age of 18 years free of cost to them and their family. Working in partnership with other healthcare providers, the hospice provides inpatient facilities, including symptom control, res

pite and end of life care. We rely on the generosity of our community for the majority of our funding. Our work can only continue with the support of local people, companies and organisations that give their time and money to fundraise on our behalf. Our thanks go to them and our staff and volunteers in the hospice and shops for their hard work and
dedication.

We all have that drawer... the one with bras that don't fit anymore. The ones you never wear. The ones you're keeping "just in case."

Rather than leaving them tucked away, why not let them do some good?

Our Bra Recycling Banks are now available in every Butterfly Hospice charity store as well as our Furniture Warehouse.

Every wearable bra donated helps reduce waste, raises funds for local hospice care and gives someone else the opportunity to benefit from something no longer needed.

Sometimes the smallest donation can make a bigger difference than you realise. πŸ’™

Did you know you can take part in Bike or Hike 2026 for free and that your fundraising can make a real difference?

Simply pledge to raise Β£200 or more in sponsorship and we'll waive your entry fee.

And if Β£200 sounds like a big target, don't worry - you'd be surprised how quickly it can add up with the support of family, friends and colleagues.

Here are just a few simple fundraising ideas:
β˜• Host a coffee morning
🧁 Hold a bake sale
🎟️ Organise a raffle
πŸ’Ό Ask your workplace to support you
πŸ’» Set up an online fundraising page

Every pound you raise helps us continue providing compassionate care within our community.

Today, we want to take a moment to recognise and thank Debbie, as she leaves the Butterfly Hospice.

Debbie has been a valued part of our Hospice for many years, first giving her time as a volunteer before becoming an important member of our Therapy Team. Alongside her wonderful therapy dogs, Bran and Jory, she has provided animal assisted therapy with compassion and dedication.

The comfort, companionship and moments of joy that she has brought to our guests and their families have meant so much. Her care also extended to the nursing team, charity staff and volunteers and she leaves a lasting impact on so many people across our community.

From our guests and their families and from everyone at The Butterfly Hospice Trust, thank you for everything you have given to the Hospice and to the people we are here to support. Your contribution will be remembered with enormous gratitude and affection.

As you begin your travels, we hope they bring many special experiences and treasured memories and we all look forward to hearing all about them when you come back to visit.

Thank you for everything, Debbie. You will be greatly missed πŸ’™
