27th April 2026 - Local Plan Public Meeting

A packed hall tonight, and rightly so. Residents are fed up and they made that crystal clear.

This Local ‘Plan’ is fundamentally flawed. It reduces affordable housing, piles development onto our communities, and offers no serious plan for roads, schools, GP access or infrastructure. This is recklessness.

Radlett is once again being treated as the easy option. While others are protected (likely due to voting), Radlett is expected to absorb wave after wave of development with little regard for the people who actually live here.

Residents are not against sensible growth. But they are absolutely right to oppose a plan that is unbalanced, flawed and unfair.

This administration should be ashamed of what they are putting forward. It fails the basic test of leadership, and it fails our communities.
