We’ve written to the UK government about our concerns with AI and mental health.

We think AI platforms and mental health services can work safely together, but we need to take steps to get there. We need to make mental health support quicker and easier to access so people are not needing to fill the gap with AI tools in times of need.

There is an urgent need for stronger safeguards, and shared accountability.

When leaders speak honestly about mental health, it changes the conversation.

In a powerful discussion on male su***de and emotional wellbeing, William Prince & Guvna B reminded us that “mental health crises are temporary” and encouraged more men to speak openly about how they’re really feeling. He also highlighted the need for strong male role models to help make these conversations second nature.

At Kintsugi Hope, this is exactly what we believe, that sharing honestly, checking in with ourselves, and creating safe spaces to talk can be that stepping stone through difficult moments.
Because tomorrow can feel different. And no one should have to get there alone.

Prince William has offered his advice to those struggling with their mental health, in a special Radio 1 panel discussion.

This week Ellie Gage is joining UCB each day at lunchtime to share prayers that focus on slowing down, and taking a moment to reflect on our mental wellbeing. Join us this week.
