We are so excited for our new group.

🎉 We’ve been very busy getting everything ready for our new Church Crookham Group!

Over the past few weeks, we've been moving toys, resources and equipment into the Scout Hut, and we are so excited to welcome families through the doors soon. 🧸✨

Our new group starts on 10th September, and there are still spaces available!

If you're looking for a friendly place where little ones can play, learn and grow while meeting other local families, we'd love for you to join us.

We’d love to see as many of our supporters, families, friends and followers getting involved and helping to raise funds for local charities — including Home-Start Hampshire. 🙌

We have a number of wonderful weekly groups across Hampshire for families with babies and preschoolers, offering a friendly, supportive space to meet other families, make connections and enjoy time together. 💜

🌟 Could you lend a helping hand to a local family in Hampshire? 🌟

Raising young children can be one of life’s greatest joys, but it can also feel incredibly tough at times. Sleepless nights, isolation, illness, mental health struggles, multiple births and the everyday pressures of family life can leave parents feeling overwhelmed and in need of a little extra support. 💛

That’s where Home-Start Hampshire comes in. We’re a local community charity built on a simple idea: local people supporting local families.

Our trained volunteers offer free, confidential and non-judgemental support to families in their own homes. Sometimes, a friendly ear, a shared cup of tea or an extra pair of hands is all it takes to help a parent feel more connected, confident and able to cope. ☕💬

📍 To keep this vital service running in Hampshire, we’re looking for local volunteers to join our team — and we’d love to welcome some new faces!

You don’t need formal qualifications. We’re looking for people with kindness, warmth, life experience and a little time to spare — usually around 2–3 hours a week or fortnight.

✨ Ongoing support
✨ Travel expenses covered
✨ The chance to make a real difference to a local family

By giving just a small amount of your time, you could make a lasting difference to a parent and child living right on your doorstep. 🏡❤️

A heartfelt thank you to everyone that supported our Open Air Shakespeare event at 's Hard last month.

Whether you attended, volunteered, donated a prize or were one of the amazing performers from The Villagers Open Air Drama Group, your contribution helped raise £2324.90, which will go towards our work supporting young families.
