🌟Market Update🌟
It's been almost a week since our Christmas market, and we thought it was time for an update and to give a proper shout out to everyone involved.
First things first...
The total amount raised for the centre from this years Christmas market was............
✨£968✨
This would not have been possible without the help of the following local businesses who very kindly, and generously sponsored the event this year, and made it possible for us to have the Grotto and the inflatable snow globe:
E & R Moffat Limited
Indian Cottage
Bonny Travel
Lightways
Cafe Retro
That’s Handy
Georges Carpets, and
The Bridge Inn
Also a big shout out to the following businesses that donated selection boxes or money towards selection boxes for the Grotto:
Lightways
Morrsions
Tesco Camelon and
Tesco Bonnybridge
This helped us massively, so thank you for supporting this event!
Any spare selection boxes were donated to ROOTS Food Bank and Community Events, who also made a contribution to the market by donating biscuits to the Cafe, and by providing the amazing mascots Olaf and the Grinch.
Thank you to all the vendors who participated and brought along some amazing products, and for all the wonderful donations to our raffle. We had a few new faces this year and it was lovely getting to know you all, and to have a quick catch up with those of you who had been along before.
We would also like to thank Cafe Nero in Falkirk who very kindly donated a prize to the raffle.
A big thank you to the B*H committee members and volunteers from the community who helped organise and run the market, helping with set up and the tidy up afterwards, who ran the Cafe, the elf workshop, and of course Brian, who managed to get Santa to come along for a visit.
Thanks to the Garden and Lights committee who put together another great light switch on show. It was a pleasure to work with you again this year.
A shout out to USB Events who provided and set up the Grotto and the snow globe. And to Kaleigh who stood outside in the cold doing a wonderful job of manning the snow globe 👏
We also had a wonderful performance at the end of the market by the girls from Sing It Loud With Dionne Hickey. You guys were fab, and we loved having you all along. Well done girls, and thank you for being part of our Christmas market this year.
And of course, we need to thank you all in the community for coming along, for buying raffle tickets, for visiting the Grotto and the snow globe, and dropping by the Cafe for a cuppa and some soup. We appreciate the continued support, and it wouldn't be possible to keep the centre open and running without you all supporting our fundraising efforts.
Thank you all, and we hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year 🎅
