Today the Community Food Larder received a delivery of fruit and veg from CFINE.

One of the key roles of the Community Food Larder is to reduce food waste so if you could use any of the produce please come along to the Community Bothy at Drovers Square in Ardgay before 5pm today and pick some up ☺️

Are you passionate about helping people, building relationships and making a real difference in communities?

KoSDT is recruiting a Community Support Officer to support the development of community projects across the Kyle of Sutherland and wider Sutherland area.

Working alongside local communities, partner organisations and public services, you'll help develop projects, create opportunities and improve wellbeing for people across the county.

Every day will be different. You might be helping a community group develop a new idea, supporting local projects, organising events and meetings, promoting activities online, or working with partners to tackle issues such as fuel poverty, employability and community wellbeing.

We're looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working with people and building positive relationships
- Can communicate confidently with a wide range of individuals and organisations
- Is organised and able to manage a varied workload
- Can work independently as well as part of a supportive team
- Has an interest in strengthening communities and helping create positive change

What we offer:
- Salary: £28,500 per annum
- Fixed term contract: 12 months
- Based at The Barn, Ardgay, with some home working flexibility
- Job share opportunities may be available for the right candidates
- Supportive and friendly working Environment
