We’re gearing up for a busy 2026 season and looking to grow our amazing volunteer team!

We’re currently recruiting Weekend Duty Staff – friendly faces who can help us give every group a great welcome.

As Duty Staff, you’ll:
Welcome groups to site
Help check out equipment
Support the shop
Assist with departures and getting the site ready for the next visitors

This is a flexible weekend role — you can volunteer for a full weekend or just a day, whatever works for you.

It’s a fantastic way to meet new people, support Scouting, and be part of something special — no two days are the same!

Youth Applications are now open for Greater Manchester North, Unit 71 at the 26th World Scout Jamboree in Poland, summer 2027.

🤷‍♂️Who: Scouts/Explorers who will be aged 14–17 in Summer 2027 (born between 30 July 2009 – 30 July 2013)

📍Where: Gdańsk, Poland – right on the stunning Baltic coast

📆When: Summer 2027

💸The cost of the Jamboree is £3,490. All participants will be expected to take part in the fundraising activities organised.

The selection weekend will be Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th October at PRaWS District HQ in Whitefield. Please ensure you keep this weekend free. This is not an overnight event, but two separate days that they will be expected to attend.
