Hundreds of people from across Bolton took part in the One Bolton 5k and 2012m fun run on Sunday 8 July that was held at Middlebrook for the second year.

The crowds were treated to a variety of acts that captured the very spirit of One Bolton - African Drummers, North Asian dance act and the Eagley Brass Band.

During 2012, there are many opportunities to celebrate One Bolton and in particular the One Bolton 5K run is taking place on the 8 July 2012 at 1.30pm. There is also a 2012m fun run from 12:15pm.

The One Bolton Match Day was a great success! please check out some of the photographs from the day http://bit.ly/IS3a2h - you can continue to show your support for One Bolton by registering for the One Bolton 5k Run which takes place on the 8th of July.

For the One Bolton Match Day on the 21 April, more than a 1,000 tickets were distributed among local schools and within our communities as part of our commitment to celebrate Bolton's diversity.

The One Bolton 5k run has been organised by Bolton Wanderers Community Trust in partnership with Bolton Council and Active Synergy, a social enterprise who deliver sporting events across the North West namely the Legacy Event Series.

A local woman will be taking part in the One Bolton 5k run on Sunday May 8 to raise money for her son.
