We're delighted to celebrate our wonderful team member, Michael Phipps, who has been awarded a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in His Majesty The King’s Birthday Honours List 2026 for services to young people✨

This national recognition reflects the growing impact of Greater Manchester’s community-led approach to reducing violence, which brings together local communities, VCSE organisations and public sector partners to create safer, stronger neighbourhoods across the region💜

News like this can cause alarm, stress and fear. It’s important that we come together to support one another in these moments. A kinder, more hopeful future is possible, and Bolton CVS will always be a safe space for anyone regardless of who they are, what they believe, or what community they’re a part of.

We stand in solidarity with Bolton’s Muslim community, and everyone who has been affected by the news.

This week is , and our lovely CEO Helen had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Who Cares? Awards Ceremony and Celebration Event, hosted by Bolton Carers Support🎉

The awards are designed to recognise the people and places who have gone above and beyond in celebrating and recognising the incredible work unpaid carers do - and we were lucky enough to be involved in this year's judging process!✨️

A massive well done to everyone who was involved and thank you to everyone who showed up today - in person or in spirit - you make Bolton a better place to live💜
