CHIP OFF THE OLD BLOCK

My son Sean, 42, has for the last year visited at least once day the massive lake in Leigh known as Pennington Flash to feed the abundance of wildfowl there.

He has also rescued a few geese with fishing line around their legs and is there so often he can amazingly even identify most of them individually and name them too.

There are times after such feeding Sean sits on the grass and the geese surround him and sit with him such is their trust of this human.

He must spend a fortune of his own money in pursuit of this new found vocation and has now acquired the nickname of ..’The Goose Man’ amongst the locals.

Very proud of what he is doing and it’s good that dog walkers and the like have come to know him and praise him for what he is doing .

Wishing all our supporters and members a very MERRY CHRISTMAS
