What a brilliant initiative 👏 As a serving prison chaplain , I know firsthand how important it is for young people to gain a real and sobering understanding of what life in prison is actually like 🚔🔒👮

Prison life can become incredibly lonely, especially for those struggling with mental health and other challenges 🧠💙 It’s certainly not the badge of honour 🏅that some make it out to be 🎥🎬🕶️.

Looking forward to working together to bring the van 🚐 and lots of other positive activities ⚽🎨🎶 to parks 🌳🌳across Halliwell and other areas over the summer ☀️ The Flowhesion Foundation

⛺️🍁🌳Anderton Centre Away Day 🌄🗺️🧭

This weekend, some of our amazing young people from our Halliwell Sports Hub and The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Award programme in Bolton took part in an action-packed few days at the Anderton Centre 🏕️

From hiking 🥾 canoeing 🚣‍♂️ to tree climbing 🌳 archery 🏹 to learning essential survival skills 🔥🧭🗺️🍁📍, the group embraced every challenge alongside an overnight stay that made the experience even more memorable ⛺️🛌.

At The Flowhesion Foundation , we’re always exploring innovative ways to help young people reach their full potential 🌟 The Duke of Edinburgh programme we deliver is such an important driver for this.

A big thank you to Beth Craigen 🙌 for recently training our volunteers in essential expedition skills Nacro put to great use over the weekend 💪! Our new minibus was also used which was a delight 🚐🚐 kindly funded by the Youth Spaces fund.
