"Make A Noise For Peace"

An early heads up
On Sunday 20th Sept '26 We are hosting a
Celebration of peace in Chapel and it's grounds.
We are calling it "Make A Noise For Peace" on account we have installed a 'Peace Bell' in our Garden of Remembrance.
We are inviting ALL who wish to contribute.
This is to tie in with International Peace Day on 21st September 🙏🏽

It was Frank's birthday today and we took him up to the Tea Rooms for lunch and then to Chapel, Sheila came too, lawks! what I gave to do to fill the Chapel 😁
Today's theme was 'Achions mean more than words'
Instead of a sermon we had a talk from Peter Roberts who installs drinking water pumps in Zambian villages -- and is entirely self funded. Rivetting, truly so, especially when you see the drilling rigs he installs and uses -- in one village Mpangwe he hit water at 30M but went down to 50M, then his 13year old son William read out a prayer that he had written.
A first for both and Thelma his wife and Oliver his other son looked on with pride and admiration, as did we all 😀
We donated today's collection to his work which was £85 and will go towards pump repairs or Peter's next project 'Solar Electricity' and new pipework.
