Due to the distance and forecast of high wind and very heavy rain, the A walk from Cartmel on Saturday October 24th is cancelled.
There will be a local walk of 10 miles as an alternative meeting on the road near the Pack Horse, Affetside, BL8 3QW ///lines.drip.hello

The following is a replacement walk in place of the published one.

Westhoughton to Appley Bridge rail ramble
Meet at Westhoughton train station cp to catch 10.40am train to Appley Bridge, canalside walk to Wigan Pier then train back from Wigan Wallgate station to Westhoughton. Please bring bus passes with ,£10 train supplement if you have it
