So after ten long years of supporting this community the best way possible and navigating around many obstacles to provide to those in need. Funding premises out of my own pocket to keep it running and have storage, coordinate and allocate out organising vans, donators, distribution. Volunteers. We have been very limited on physical support or running costs of any building or storage. There’s been numerous obstacles weve faced over the last ten years and witnessed a lot from other organisations also. The last ten years has not only been time consuming in my life but also my families we committed to providing a service unaware the depths of the suffering and the true root cause and continuous cycles creating this heartache. From our own personal commitments we continued and persevered and always remained grassroots and confidential to who we provided for. We also challenged any other service or individual who were part of that suffering and represented in courts to stop evictions by being a Mackenzie friend. This time has amounted to a decade of commitment for others and has benefited many and saved many lives. Offering a service like we have should never of been so difficult or resistance from others to prevent what we was doing. Storage or premises should never of had to come from our own pocket to continue the operating of all this and my time and energy shouldn’t of had to of accumulated to thousands of hours in the ten years it’s been situated here. Today we find ourselves with no storage again and continuous obstacles for something which should be a simple operation in providing resources and food for this community.
So as of today I send my love to you all wish you all the best for the future and I’m eternally greatful for the genuine connections I’ve made, the experiences I’ve had and the thousands we’ve helped through difficult times. Today we give a months notice of ending this service any parcels we will let you know where to collect from until then there will be none be delivered unless stated otherwise. I wish you all well and will let you know there are solutions to any problem if only communities come together rather than being divided or supporting those who continue cycles. After ten years and more of going up against this system I have chosen to give my time and energy in other area to help humanity in going forward. My energy is valuable and I’m fully aware of my consistency dedication worth and most of all my life. So unfortunately this is a farewell for our service I’ll be persuing other areas to help individuals grow spiritually and develop their true potential and gifts within which will in turn empower them to find solutions to problems and take direct action theirselves.
