It's getting hot out here! ☀️🔥

✅Your baby does not need water under 6 months of age, their usual milk is all that is needed.
✅Breastmilk is tailor-made and will adapt and change to suit your babies needs. In this hot weather it can change into the thirst quenching milk to keep your little one happier.
✅From 6 months babies can have water alongside solids. Breastmilk or formula should be their main drink during the first year.
✅If baby is also having formula, under 6 months water is still not needed, more breast milk/formula would be preferable
✅Keep to the shade as much as possible
✅Look after yourself too, make sure you are drinking plenty. Breastfeeding is thirsty work after all

Keep feeding responsively and watch out for those early feeding cues. If baby seems more sleepy, keep offering.
