Rockhaven & Horwich Lodge No.2324 Rockhaven & Horwich Lodge is a traditional and vibrant Masonic Lodge based in Horwich, Lancs.

Rockhaven & Horwich Lodge hold their meetings at Ridgmont House in Horwich. Rigmont House is a Grade 2 listed building in 5 acres of attractive private grounds with extensive car parking facilities. Originally, Horwich Lodge No.2324 was consecrated in 1889 and its founders and members were drawn from the local Railway community. Horwich Lodge amalgamated with Rockhaven Lodge in 2013 to form Rockha

ven & Horwich Lodge. We are a traditional, vibrant and sustainable Lodge, which remains true to their illustrious histories. We pride ourselves with our standards of ritual and ensure our members are given the opportunity to take part in our ceremonies and plays to develop their skills as well as Masonic knowledge. The Lodge benefits from members who come from a diverse cross section of employment and lifestyle status and are drawn from the surrounding areas including Bolton,Horwich,Westhoughton, Adlington, Chorley and Wigan. Lodge meetings start from September till May commencing at 1830hrs on the second Tuesday of the month. Our meeting are followed by a 3 course meal where members and visitors can relax in friendly and convivial surroundings. Formal social events are organised during the year where friends and family members are invited to attend.

The Worshipful Master, Bro. Ralph Vincent is pleased to announce that the Lodge meeting to be held on Tuesday 14th April 2026 will be followed by an Old English Night Festive Board at 7.15.pm. Entertainment through the evening.
Brethren , non Masons ,wives & guests wishing to attend the dinner, price £28.00, are asked to complete and return the booking form to the Secretary, as quickly as possible, and by not later than Tuesday 7th April, with the names of their guests for the evening, and enclosing the appropriate payment if paying by cheque..

Please indicate on the booking form if you or your guests have any alternatives to the set menu or wish to choose a vegetarian option. Alternatives must be ordered in advance through me

Rockhaven & Horwich Installation ceremony is comming up in October and I just wish to thank our WM Steven for his dedication and his enthusiasim during his tenure as Master of the Lodge. Masonry is to be enjoyed and I think there was enough laughter during the Lodge nights to prove Masonry is alive and kicking in West Lancs. (or is that East Lancs??) .
Further info on our Installation evening will follow in due course.

Our joint quiz night with Anderton Lodge was a great success with over 70 guests attending. Congratulations to Colin & Frank on organising the event which raised £420 to be donated to Bolton Hospice.
Fish & chips supper went down a treat and well done to the staff at Curleys in catering for so many at once.

We are pleased to announce that Rockhaven & Horwich and Anderton Lodges will be holding a joint QUIZ NIGHT on Tuesday 6th May 2025.
This will be held at Curleys Restaraunt, Horwich starting @ 1900hrs.
Cost is £17.00 pp inclusive of a fish & chip supper.
A raffle will be held during the evening and the proceeds will be donated to Bolton Hospice.
Closing Date for bookings is 29th April 2025.
This event is open to Masons and their partners and non masonic guests.
We look forward to your attendance so please book soonest with our Lodge secretary or Director of Ceremonies.

Our next Lodge meeting is on Tuesday 11th March 2025 starting at 1830hrs @ Ridgmont House and we welcome Masons and Masonic guests to attend. This will be followed by a LANCASHIRE EVENING @ approx 1930hrs where we welcome wives, partners & non masonic guests to attend and to be entertained by Rob Mason with typical Lancashire humour and song.
Cost: £11.00 pp inclusive of a potatoe pie supper.
Please book your attendance soonest for this entertaining and fun evening with our Lodge Secretary.
