The cubs have been working on their personal safety badge for the last few meetings and tonight we talked a little about online safety.

So tonight we took a picture of our feet with Mr Cuddles-worth the panda (some of the cubs have meet him on camps). To see how far our post will go over the next couple of weeks.

Please can you share, like and comment, on this post where you are from so that they can see how far online info can be seen/found etc. thank you.

Tonight the Cubs started off the night with a game called as quite train.

we then showed each other the models they made at the last meeting and explained the dangers.

The cubs then made their own safety code do with either; (roads, online, water, camping, etc) once they wrote there code they then made a poster, ( which they will finish next week)

Tonight the cubs started on their work on their personal safety badge.

First the cubs explained the dangers of playing near railways, different bodies of water and cliffs.

The cubs then made a model of a hazard and after the bank holiday the cubs will then explain their hazard and why is it dangerous.

St. George’s Day (April 23) celebrates the patron saint of Scouting, who represents courage, bravery, and overcoming adversity. The legend tells of a brave knight who rescues a princess by defeating a ferocious dragon threatening a village, using a spear to overcome it. This story inspires Scouts to face challenges boldly.

Today as scouts we remind ourselves our promise and scout law.

Bolton Scouts and Guides came together for a joint St George's Day parade on Sunday (April 19).

Tonight the Cubs focused on team work.

The first challenge was to build a village out of lego.

The next was to put themselves in height order without speaking.

Next was a team challenge which focused on communication and working together.

one person was the planner who got to see the lego model had a minutes to look at it, they when had to communicate what they saw to the architecture who than had drew what the planner saw. The architecture when come to talk to the surveyor to tell them what lego pieces they needed and where they go.
The surveyor then took these pieces to the builders and they needed to tell the builders where these pieces go.

They then had a 2nd chance to complete and the planner got to check what they had built and they needed to communicate with the architecture what was missing, and they when told the surveyor and the surveyor then told the builder. They gave it a really good go and worked well together.

The next challenge was again with out talking had to put themselves in birth date order.

We then played a couple of games they started off with having some sets of paper in front of them and they had to run place one bit of paper down at a time but one same colour could touch. once this was completed they then had to
Swap two incorrect to make two correct and keep doing this until all the colours where in the same row.

We then finished off the night with the parachute and played some games with that.
