Yesterday, we had the pleasure of holding the Ice Cream Alliance North West AGM at Holden's Ice Cream in Abbey Village. A heartfelt thank you to Richard for his exceptional hospitality and wonderful refreshments. Before the meeting formally began, we were treated to a lovely presentation by Craig Jenel, who introduced us to NIC UK. He showcased the remarkable progress NIC UK has made in the UK, highlighting new technological developments and an improved business structure and reiterated the family feel commitment that will help coordinate more effectively with businesses and suppliers across the UK.
The meeting itself was a great success. We discussed inspiring new initiatives, raised £170 from attendees for a Kidneys for life - A charity based in Manchester independent of the NHS close to Richard "funding for research projects which focus on improving dialysis, ways to make transplanted kidneys last longer and also, crucially ways to detect early stage kidney disease. We also fund training and education of North West based renal staff - all with the aim of making life better for kidney patients, of all ages, in our area" Kidneys for life
We then elected our new team for 2026
