Walking Sports are back this Wednesday at the Sports Hall Bolton School 6-7pm, Chorley New Road Bolton BL1 4PA. Men and women of all ages (focus on over 50s) are invited along. We will be playing rugby, hockey and possibly some yBall and netball. It's a load of fun and a good way to get active and meet some new people. No problem if you have never played before or are an ex-international player as FUN and FRIENDLY is the key! Sessions are FREE but you can leave a donation each week to pay for the hall/trainer. FREE cuppa and biscuit(s) at Half Time !!!!!!! See you there

A small montage of some of the programmes Prime Sports NW CIC were involved with in 2017/18. Perhaps this will help us with further funding to help more people of all ages in our community. Thanks to Bolton RUFC for their assistance and partnership with events.
Walking Sports, Rugby, Cricket, Mindfulness, Gaelic Football, Gymnastics, Field Hockey, Scooter Boards, TRI Golf, New Age Kurling, yBall, Staff days, Sports Days, Tournaments ... all in a days work at Prime Sports NW where the customer and participants are in charge!

A Sunday is not often a day of rest for many parents with sporty kids! Ferrying them to and from venues, finding kit that has mysteriously gone missing during the week, raiding the kitchens for the elusive good cup of coffee and a bacon sarnie.... So I thought this image may serve as a little reminder of how we can all help to be proactive on the sideline to ensure all the participants, whatever the sport or level, enjoy their time on the pitches in the UK and beyond.

Tag Rugby tournament
June/July 2018

In conjunction with Bolton Rugby Union Football Club the 2017/18 TAG Rugby tournament will take place on Thursday afternoons between 12:45 and 15:00 in Summer 2.

All games are for mixed teams playing the usual Rugby Union TAG rules. 7-a-side with a minimum of 2 girls and 2 boys on the pitch at all times.

Dates are:

14th June — Year 6
21st June — Year 5
28th June — Year 4
5th July — Year 3 & Year 2 (both tournaments will take place consecutively)

There is a small (non refundable) cost of £10 per team to enter which goes towards providing referees and medals for the winners.

Please note:

Tournaments will take place at Bolton Rugby Union FC
Avenue Street, Halliwell, Bolton BL1 3AW.
Toilets and a place to store any coats etc are available.
Squads of 10 (or so).
Games are 7-a-side with a minimum of 2 boys and 2 girls on the pitch.
Non-contact and inclusive.
Please bring a set of shirts/bibs and a set of tags if at all possible.
Games are “fun based” and promoting the Rugby Union ethos of Teamwork Respect Enjoyment Discipline and Sportsmanship (TREDS).
A FREE two hour coaching session will be provided for the school we feel has demonstrated the most sporting behaviour.
