One of our followers has asked us to post about this: Has anyone lost a cat and 2 kittens in the Torridon Rd area?

We seem to have a black/ginger/white tabby cat and 2 kittens nesting/hiding in our laurels, mum cat looks like she is young and is really hungry and kittens look a few weeks old, don’t know where they have come from or been there a few days at least but I can’t get near them, mum cat hissing at me when I go anywhere near, we need to find their owners pretty quickly or going to have to phone cats protection league or similar to get them to help if I can’t find their owners just don’t think I can catch them 😭😭
Please message us if they belong to you and we can arrange with the person posting.

Do you have an issue in your area in the Bolton North police area that you'd like the police to take notice of? Are you interested in engaging with the police or community safety officers from the council about an issue, such as antisocial behaviour or off-road bikes, for example?
Then the PACT meeting is the ideal place to bring this up so your local community police can address it. Thursday 25th June 6.00-7.30 at St Paul's Primary School, Astley Bridge.

Should we continue to control the consumption of alcohol in Bolton’s public places when it is linked to anti-social behaviour, crime and disorder?

It’s important to have your say because these powers are under review and the council needs to know whether there is public support to continue them.

They allow the police and authorised personnel to tell people to stop consuming alcohol if they are involved in anti-social behaviour, crime or disorder.

Just so everyone is aware, we've been told that travellers have gone through the barriers at New House Farm this evening. Cllr Fielding was fortunately in the right place at the right time -Town Hall - to inform the community safety team who will be beginning proceedings for eviction immediately.
