She currently works with a number of local schools, providing weekly appointments that help families access essential household items, including beds, furniture, and other practical support.

Today we celebrated our wonderful volunteers! Those that provide pastoral support to our clients, the trustees that ensure The Guild is somewhere to be proud of and those that help us with the office tasks that ensure the work we do runs smoothly. We missed those of you that couldn’t be with us today.

🐾 Need help with Animal Trust Bolton vet bills? 🐾

We’re holding support appointments every Friday in Costa Coffee on Lower Bridgeman Street, Bolton (next to Animal Trust Vets)

If you, or someone you know, has a much-loved pet needing treatment at Animal Trust Bolton, please get in touch.

Criteria - low household income (on UC or Pension credit, as a full payment or top-up) and not have had help from us in the past 3 years with a vet bill.

Courtesy of the Army Benevolent Fund, Becky our Veteran Champion, was delighted to present a cheque for £300 to The Well, Farnworth Baptist Church in support of local Veterans.

We run a Veteran & Community Drop-In every Friday from 10am–1pm in The Well. Whether you need support, help accessing additional services, or simply a friendly chat and a brew, we would love to welcome you.

Last week, we had the pleasure of meeting Sam from BNice Horwich at our drop-in.

Bnice Horwich and Bolton Nice provide amazing support across Bolton, Horwich, and Blackrod, including food parcels for those in need. They also carry out house clearances and help local people by providing furniture where possible.

Sam went above and beyond for one of our clients at the drop-in, who was applying for a washing machine from us. She took the time to sit with her, listen to her situation, and arrange some much-needed food support there and then. Thank you!
