Bolton Guild Of Help Bolton Guild of Help is a charity for the residents of Bolton, operating since 1905.

Bolton Guild of Help has been helping the residents of Bolton since it was formed in 1905. The majority of our income is raised from interest received on investments of the various legacies we manage. We assess the needs of individuals on an appointment basis and provide items or services of practical use. We can also make referrals to our partners for support in areas such as debt, benefits and m

ental health. To discuss your eligibility for a grant, please email us on [email protected] or call us on 01204 524858 Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday between 9am and 3pm.

We will be opening a brand new drop-in in Westhoughton.
Our open day is:
Tuesday 18th August - 10:00am-12:00pm
We will be at John Holt Community Centre every Tuesday 9:30am-12:30am from the 25th August.

💚 A Lasting Legacy – Thank You, Phil Gibbs 💚

We are incredibly grateful to local businessman Phil Gibbs, who generously left a legacy to The Bolton Guild of Help in his Will.

So far, Phil’s gift has helped us award 90 grants, impacting 285 people across Bolton, providing essential items including white goods, carpets and furniture.

His generosity continues to make a real difference to local people long after his lifetime.

We have our weekly Veteran and Community Drop-In on Thursday at Bridge Coffee Shop. You are more than welcome to pop in and have a chat with other veterans and if you need some support, grab one of our veteran leads.
