Do you know that our Befriending Service operates in Bury as well as Bolton?

Are you an autistic adult living in or around Bury? Do you sometimes feel lonely? Would you like to meet up with a volunteer befriender once a week? Interested to know more? Please get in touch. Ring 01204 968320 or email [email protected]. We have volunteers trained up and keen to meet you!

Hi everyone, this Thursday we are at the Triangle Community Methodist Church again for our cooking skills session. We will be there from 7pm-9pm and will be making mild Cajun pasta. As always there's no pressure to join in, you can watch or have a chat with the other members. refreshments will be available.

BAAS were delighted to be invited by Bolton Carers Support for 2026, and to receive a Special Recognition Award for the work we do to support unpaid carers of autistic adults. Our Outreach Project Lead, Carol, and Chief Executive, Vicky, attended on behalf of the charity to accept the award, and it was inspiring to hear of the fantastic work taking place across Bolton to support unpaid carers in everything they do 💗

Hi everyone, this Thursday we are at the Red Lane allotments (8-10 Red Lane, Breightmet Bolton, BL2 5BL) planting seeds and making smores. We will be meeting at the allotments at 12:30 and we will finish at 2:30pm. I have added a picture of the entrance so you know where to fine it.

Hi everyone, on Tuesday 9th June we have our male only Autism discussion group. This is held at our office in Nelson House from 1:30-3:30pm. The Topic is physical health and lifestyle. Refreshments will be available.

What a brilliant way to end our celebrations! and volunteers enjoyed a lovely get together this afternoon. Delicious cake at Olive's Kitchen followed by a look round the exhibition at Bury Art Museum We recommend a trip to both, along with The Fusilier Museum, Lancashire
