🎉 WE HAVE BIG NEWS! Welcome to a brand new week at BAAS—and a huge milestone for our community! 🎉

We are absolutely thrilled to officially launch our brand new, expanded premises this week, following an official opening event on Thursday 15th October! We were extremely honoured to be supported at the opening by the Bolton Mayor, Councillor Mohammed Iqbal, alongside our friends from Bolton CVS and Bolton Work Well. 🤝✨

Thanks to this expansion, we now have the room to welcome more faces, run more activities, and create an even bigger safe haven for autistic adults and unpaid carers. 💙

Our new space means more room for friendship, learning, and respite. We can't wait to share this next chapter with you all!

Hi everyone, We’re excited to be hosting our first arts and crafts workshop from our brand‑new room in Nelson House this Thursday, 7–9pm. We’ll be creating spooky Halloween portraits using a mix of materials, including paints — perfect for getting into the seasonal spirit. If arts and crafts aren’t your thing, you’re still very welcome to come along for a chat, a brew, or some downtime in our new sensory room. You can book your place using the link below if you haven't already done so. Our sessions are open to adults who have a diagnosis of Autism and those who are already on the diagnostic pathway.

Another successful cooking session at the Elms Community Centre in Whitefield. Thank you for visiting us Bury VCFA 😄. We made vegetable quiche and one of our participents got creative and made their own cheese pasty 😋

Hi everyone, We’re back at The Elms Community Centre in Whitefield this Friday, 6–8pm, for our fortnightly cooking session — and this time we’re getting festive with healthy gingerbread biscuits. There’s absolutely no pressure to cook or eat; you’re welcome to come along, watch, chat, and enjoy a relaxed evening with like‑minded people. Refreshments will be provided. An absolutely massive thank you to three fantastic volunteers S, P and A, who shared their cracking DIY skills, giving up a few hours of their Saturday to help our Chief Exec, Vicky and Chair Person, Anita in setting up our new community space on the ground floor of BAAS's home at Nelson House. We GENUINELY couldn't have done it without them, and we're so very grateful for all their support 💙

Hi everyone, we are back for our male only Autism discussion group on Tuesday 13th. This takes place at our office in Nelson House from 1:30 - 3:30pm. We will be discussing Autism disclosure experiences and refreshments will be available. You are under no pressure to talk or share anything you don't want to. You can book your place via the link below if you haven't done so already. Our sessions are open to adults who have a diagnosis of Autism or are alreday on the diagnostic pathway.
