So proud of the cadets who came out to the remembrance of D-Day yesterday evening at Pagham Beach. Had a great evening with a service led by the vicar and the cadets got to see some army vehicles and weapons. Amazing to be part of such an important community event ❤️

Calling All Teddy enthusiasts - do you or anyone you know need to rehome some teddies to make way for new ones? Or you simply just need a clear out?
We are looking for teddies of all shapes and sizes for our fundraising stall at Bognor Carnival. We can collect your teddies from you or they can be dropped into us on our Monday night meeting.
We would love to help you find your teddies their next loving home 🐻❤️ and fundraise to help our cadet group experience more camps ⛺️, r***e shooting, archery and get us out and about helping our local community

With the crashing waves as his soundtrack, Finn fearlessly dove into the frigid sea, ready to conquer the chilly challenge that awaited him. The cold sea dip was not just a test of strength but a testament to Finn's adventurous spirit, pushing him beyond his comfort zone. As he emerged from the icy waters, a sense of accomplishment washed over him, knowing that he had embraced the thrill of the unknown for a good cause. The support from his GoFundMe page only added to the adrenaline-fueled excitement of his daring feat, fueling his adventurous soul for even greater challenges ahead.

Hi team,
What a week or 2 we have had! We have all been so busy that we have not had a chance to sit down and tell you all about it.
We have been learning Drill and Kalli has been doing a fantastic job learning to pipe and showing us as well. Annmarie and Megan have had a couple of meetings, including one with CC1 in Bognor, a Veterans group that we will all be spending time with very soon. We will also be involved in the Bognor at Bloom Hedgehog survey.
We had the opportunity to attend B&Q Bognor, and a big thank you to John and Angela from the branch for giving us the chance to do some fundraising. And boy, did we fundraise! It was a long 2 days but the goodies they provided us were much appreciated.
On Monday, we got back to learning how to pipe and also had a tinfoil boat competition. Congratulations to Sapphire for winning the competition with the boat that held the most marbles.
And lastly, we were thrilled to be awarded 2 cheques from the Pagham Pram race, which were collected by Gina and Finn.
Overall, it's been a whirlwind few weeks but we are grateful for all the opportunities and experiences we have had. Keep up the great work everyone!

Wow, what an amazing week it has been! From the vibrant start on Monday with Vice Commodore French, Megan, Mark, and Second Officer Gina showcasing how to do colours on the ship, to Annmarie and Heather holding their first committee meeting with fruitful discussions about community involvement, the momentum didn't stop. The fundraising event at Asda in Havant was a massive success, with a whopping £400.00 raised, thanks to the incredible efforts of our cadets. Their unwavering politeness, respectfulness, and dedication in distributing over 600 leaflets truly made a difference. With TS Tenacity poised to welcome new cadets soon, the enthusiasm of Montrose cadets in spreading the word about the closest unit in Portchester, is commendable. TS Montrose is flourishing, and the pride in our cadets' hard work and dedication shines through brightly. It's moments like these that make us incredibly proud of the community we've built together.

As Special thank you to Lisa from Havant Asda. She was so supportive, friendly and accommodating.

This week at our Deck night, we decided to celebrate the upcoming Valentine's Day in a delicious and heartfelt way.
Our amazing cadets not only created beautiful Valentine's cards but also indulged in some pancake making.
The atmosphere was filled with warmth and love as some of the cadets exchanged their thoughtful Valentines with their family members. However, despite their best intentions, the pancakes didn't make it home with them.
We apologize for sending them home full of sugar, but we hope they brought joy and a delightful taste to everyone.

In the midst of all this excitement, Second Officer Gina took on the task of sorting through our storage items, and to our astonishment, discovered our long-lost flagpole and flag (displayed here by Finn) and some captivating display posters. We can't wait to include these newfound treasures in our future fundraising events.
